Crystal SmithAssistant DirectorCrystal has over 18 years of dancing and competitive experience. She has been formally trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, Pointe, and tumbling. Throughout her career she has been in many performances including the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, National Tap Dance Day, and lead roles for the North Texas Youth Ballet. She has also been a guest dancer with the Brookhaven College Dancers Theater in many performances as well as the Collin County Ballet Theater for the past three years. Her many accomplishments include Miss Odyssey for two years, International Dance Challenge's Miss IDC Global for three years, Dance Spirit Magazine's Future Star Award two years in a row and many scholarships to L.A. and New York, including Steps on Broadway and Joffrey Ballet. Crystal is looking forward to the future of dance and the possibilities of travel. She loves showing her dancers the hard work, love, and devotion it takes to succeed not only in dance... but in life.
